ABOUT IFSS 2014
The International Forestry Students’ Symposium (IFSS) is the largest annual meeting of the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA), a global network of forestry and forest sciences student. The IFSS is a two-week long annual event that brings together over 100 students from all over the globe, creating a forum for cultural exchange and networking. Delegates learn about various aspects of forestry as they tour across the host country, exchanging ideas, presenting their own research, and discussing contemporary issues in forestry. In summer 2014 (August 6 – 21, 2014), IFSS will be collectively hosted by IFSA Local Committees at UBC, TRU and UNBC!
