On Saturday, March 5th, IFSA UBC is headed to North Van for a day of forest-related fresh-air adventures!
First, there was a Wild Edible Trees and Plants Identification tour in North Van. With guides from SwallowTail Tours, we walked through BC forests and were shown how to safely identify, prepare and cook wild berries, edible trees, mushrooms, and shoots, to name a few.
Second, we worked up a sweat climbing one of Vancouver’s infamous and beautiful local hikes.
Thanks to generous IFSA subsidies, this all-day trip was only $25/person!
