With a presentation time limit of 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for question answering), you’ll have the chance to delve deep into your findings and engage in meaningful discussions with your audience.

Student Presentations: Take the spotlight and present your research to an enthusiastic audience. Whether it’s an ongoing project or a finished study, this is your chance to shine.
Vote for the Best Presentation: After the presentations, everyone gets a say in selecting the most impactful presentation of the night. Your vote matters, and it’s a chance to celebrate your fellow students’ hard work.
Prize for the Top Presenter: The presenter with the most compelling research and impactful delivery will earn an exclusive opportunity. They will be invited to join the IFSA-UBC Monthly Academic Seminar as the student representative, held just two weeks later. It’s a chance to interact with experts in the field, share insights, and be part of a prestigious academic discussion.
Voting Rules and Limited Seats:
In-person listeners will vote for the number one presentation, contributing to the exciting culmination of the event. We encourage you to invite your friends and peers to join you and make the evening even more vibrant.
Please note that presentation seats are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis according to the order of application.

Participating is as easy as sharing your research story. Here’s how:
Register: Click here for our application link. Secure your spot by registering for the event. We’re excited to welcome a diverse range of research topics. For speaker application, we will let you know the results through email.
Application Deadline: September 15th, 2023
Prepare Your Presentation: Craft a compelling presentation that encapsulates your research, findings, and its relevance to the chosen topic area. The time limitation of each presentation is 20 minutes (including 5 minutes for question answering).
Engage and Network: Connect with fellow students who share your interests, receive feedback from a knowledgeable audience, and ignite meaningful conversations.
Vote: After all presentations, cast your vote for the presentation that resonated most with you.
