On Halloween evening, October 31st, the IFSA UBC team organized the third annual Prepping for COP event. This year, IFSA UBC invited a superb group of panelists that included Cecil Konijnendijk, a professor at UBC, Brianne Riehl, an analyst at the Pembina Institute, Yemi Adeyeye, a PhD student at UBC and Gabby Doebeli, an undergraduate student and member of UBCC350 at UBC to discuss all things climate change. At this event, the panelists shared their own insights and experiences before sitting down for a thought-provoking Q&A session with the audience. During the panelist discussion, the topic ranged from climate change, COP23, forestry and many more. IFSA UBC would like to thank the panelists and the audience for joining us as we prepared for the 2017 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP23) in Bonn, Germany!
