Our recent event, International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA)-UBC Chapter’s Student Presentation Night, held on September 21st, 2023, at the UBC Forest Sciences Centre, was a resounding success. With a dynamic lineup of presentations covering diverse topics such as International Forestry, Climate Change and Its Implications, Sustainable Forestry Practices, International Intern or Volunteer Experiences, and an Introduction to Forestry in participants’ Hometown or Country, the evening was an opportunity to showcase the hard work and passion for research that our participants brought to the forefront.

Not only did this event allow attendees to witness innovative research and gather fresh perspectives, but it also served as a platform for networking with peers, faculty, and professionals who share the same fervor for sustainability and forestry. We’re delighted to announce that the top presenter earned an exclusive spot at the IFSA-UBC Monthly Academic Seminar, further amplifying their academic exposure.
